Great job. However, there are flipped faces. If you open your file in Blender, in edit mode, click on mesh, move your mouse to Normals, and over to recalculate outside. If that doesn't fix it then you may have extra faces connecting to them.

That would be more effort to scale, cut out pep, glue, re-scale and cut out again if it didn't work the first time, harden, sculpt, mould... etc. Plus the cost would be outrageous.

Okay everyone needs to get over the cod piece, I don't think its part of his exo suit, and its not really part of his armor pieces either, its sort of in limbo. Point is, no one wants to make it, because its most likely not going to fit the majority of the people.

I agree with the laziness of everyone. plus they still needs the piece for his butt plate

We know its there but we're not going to model it due to the number of people it wont fit.
Its better to just make a custom one.

+1. I'm scouring the forums trying to find just the right parts for my build. I am going to use master chiefs H4 helmet, but the rest I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what I am going to do. The reason I am going with the H4 MC helmet is I was Navy and he is the only spartan referred to in a Naval reference, at least in anything prior to Contact Harvest, which I still have not read.

I was in a VBSS unit (Vessel Boarding Search and Seizure), so my spartan is set in-between H3 and H4 doing the same thing with rouge Covenant ships and insurgents. Im even writing a little fan fiction for my spartan, and I think I'm going to put a QR code on my armor so people can scan it and read the back story.

The reason I am a little off topic is because personally I would like to encourage folks to do the same, make your armor special to you. No, I am not a veteran builder, but I did spend months lurking, reading, studying before I printed out my first sheet for peping. I firmly believe that by doing something more than just to be cool at the H4 launch. While the 405th is for all types of builds, I hope folks looking at this thread might be able to take something from this post.

I am that guy! I've been lurking here for the past month and I'm using this new Spartan armor for a totally Custom Emile fan fict based armor. I am veteran Predator armor builder and its all about custom and unique designs to give each character his own story rather than just stick to canon. While I love the whole mythos I think we can have our own voice in this.
I will also use parts of the new Spartan armor for Predator armor for the Predator-Halo Universe.
