im going to have a go at un-folding your cyborg hands and i was wondering, what is the part on the very end (opposite the hands derp xD) are they above the elbow but below the shoulder piece? i want to get it scaled correctly

i think that is a part of the shoulders, i think thats what your talking about. thats awesome your unfolding this!

ok i have finished the unfold. due to the file having multiple open endges and alot of weird parts just separated so in some places you will need to get creative an add little bits of your own.

i have moved all the parts that you really dont want to pep off to one side.

parts left are hand plates, fore arms, and the bicep piece.

I can't wait to see how you make your boot soles. You always seem to be working on whatever I just finished. Keep it up.

Hey i just found something absolutely AMAZING by mistake!! :O
I just had to tell anyone currently or planning on making this build.

Okay, so i was taking a break from my new backpack/chest (i actually screwed it up, its pretty hilarious. ill have a video in a bit)
and i was watching some old Halo 2 cut-scenes trying to spot the minor differences on the Mark VI. So i decided to google image search "Halo 3 model"
and i came across this image that caught my eye.

So i decided to look at the website and i found a very amazing Pepakura file of the cyborg! Although its another rip, its way easier than the MOZ rip.
All the parts are covered up, the chest key and everything is there, and the best part, its also properly textured to make it easier to replicate, like what i am trying to do with the boots.
Here's a shot of the cyborg. I hope some people actually use this, i know i definitely will

this one should be lotsa fun!

Yeah, i saw this on deviant art a little while back. he also had a very nice (and might i add, textured) model of the needler.

I've come across that before I couldn't even finish the helmet. But that was because I was using a glue stick and elmers school glue

Hey everyone! i thought id show some some pictures from a ski trip i went on in march.
it was really fun! i only got a few, but I'm sure there are more out there since everyone wanted pictures. i decided to wear only the upper part of the armor for more mobility.
This was in Banff Canada.

Excellent to see that the Chief can snowboard!

Nice work on the Mark V.

And the helmet, inside is a from a hardhat

And the fan... if you notice there is another xbox controller connector wire coming out of the back of the chest.
it connects to the helmet through the ski mask i wear. the reason being is its a 12volt fan, so i need 6 AA batteries to run it,
but i had no room left in the helmet.

I have been looking into "fall arrest safety harnesses" too. i think it would be a great way to hold the suit up
i found one here but im debating if i should try to make my own.
Heavy Duty Fall Arrest Safety Harness Sz. Lg. $Bk Guar

anyways, more soon ;D

Looking good. It is pretty simple to make the harness, I just made mine today.

I have some stuff to make a harness with, but i have no idea how to sew. so im just going to look at videos on youtube on how sew. (youtube and google are great learning sources! ;) )
OH YA! that reminds me, i made a duct-tape dummy too! planning on putting together some kind of undersuit.

Are there any pictures of the "backpack"? I need a reference for the vents in the side...they're kinda two-dimensional in my reference photos.

its funny you say that because they are two-dimensional on my armor, what i did was took the in-game graphics and scaled them to my armor, it was kind of a rush job because there is an event coming up where i live. but it looks pretty nice considering.

Again, you do something so simple on your build, that I spent hours (sometimes days or weeks) to get to look right, and yours looks just as good.

:face palm:

I never though to take the in-game graphics. I tried to get mine by looking at the cut-scenes and getting mine by eye.
