Hello 405th!

I am starting a new project for Halo EOD armor. I started this project about 5 days ago and it is my first project ever. I will keep you guys updated on this page with pictures and stuff. If you have any questions please ask. If you want any of the pepakura files that I will be using, massage me and I will gladly send them to you. So far I have made the pepakura and resined the helmet.

Oh ok thanks for the tip. I will put the pics on in a minute. but by the way, is it normal to be worried about messig up?

Its perfectly normal my friend. The key to not messing up is to not think about messing up. You'll have workers anxiety and might not be willing to take necessary risks for making the best quality armor. Remember, if you mess up, you can always fix it. Also, practice of small, lower definition models first.

ok good. i am just worried about the bondo part. my eod helmet is somewhat jagged and I keep thinking that i won't be able to round them just right.

I suggest thin layers of bondo and just adding on to that. If you're having trouble rounding something off, use a low grit sand paper to get the general shape down and then smooth it even more with a high grit. Wet sanding does wonders for smoothness.

Ahh ok. i am in the process of fiberglassing the inside with fiberglass mat. i had to stop because it got too cold. but i keep worrying ahead. but you guy's are pro so you can help but hopefully tomorrow i will finish fiberglassing and bondo after priming and sanding.

yay, on my rookie build i did the MK VI EOD, its pretty in real life, i dont know why people criticise its in game appearance,
