Shins more or less done. I have a few button release clips on route for keeping the shins closed and neat.

Boots are done. Extra pieces added to bulk them up.

Thighs are cut and will be assembled tomorrow. Forearms are done too. Made severeal changes to them as the heavy armour look is what I'm after.

I'll get them up tomorrow.

Here are my forearms. I've added my handplate to my gauntlet. Some more detailing to add and they are done.

Hoping to get the thighs finished off today / tomorrow then it's onto making a belt to attach the cod and butt plate to.

Decided to go with a motocross jacket underneath as I have one with a cool spine exo sceleton look to it.

Very nice work man. I like the hex bolt idea. I was thinking of doing something similar only I was going to drill holes then set the bolts in to make them almost flush.

Updates today. I've completed 80% of the thighs. Got some top and bottom trim to add. Then work on the strapping pieces.

Made a start on the belt to attach both cod and butt plate. Coming together rightly.
Cards have had some extra work done on them. Closure wise, some snazzy space age clips being used. I'll post pics when they arrive.

Just another update.

All of the armour is finished. More or less.

I'll start at the top.
Chest and jet pack fit well. I have a pvc ab plate to sit undernearth the lower chest piece and the cod.

I wanted a heavier MC look, so went with a belt all round with cod and butt plate attached.

Attachment on the inside and drop down black nylon clips for my thighs to clip into.

Undersuit is a motocross jacket with some armour bits removed. With the main spine showing.... woohooo

Added extra pieces to the shoulder armour and wrap around 40mm Nylon strapping.

Heat sealing all done. Plastidipping next then primer n paint.

And then onto my rifle. Gonna be a big one

Update on my armour:

I have now finished the armour. Heat sealing is done and 1 coat of plastidip done.

Hex bolts added now and I've vacuum formed my ab plate.

So I've added some accent colour now to the plastidip per armour. Also added some weathering and metal exposure.

Here we go, couple more paint layers done. Carbon dusting and visor installed in the helmet. I'll post some more close up pics.

Helmet fans and extra padding
Black undersuit
A sidearm

Here is the weathered spine of the jacket.. also now weathered my ab plate.
Padded my helmet and attached the shoulder armour strapping.

Here is a shot of the back before the jet pack and all other pieces were weathered.

Gonna have some deployment shots taken tomorrow
First run out in the kit at a gaming convention tomorrow.

Well,

Had my first outing and was mobbed. Didn't get 10 feet into the convention hall before a mob of attendees surrounded and lined up for a picture. So pleased. No repairs needed after the con either.
