Here we go, my first finished piece of armor. I actually have a full foam Reach suit for my brother that is almost done (been working on it for almost 8 months), though none of those pieces have been plastidipped or painted yet. My brother wanted to take a break from that build to make a scout helmet for a friend's birthday.
I used normal spray paint plastidip, Rust-Oleum Forrest Green Camo for the main color, and acrylics for most everything else. For the weathering I used a mixture of black washing, black dry brushing, and chrome brushing the edges.
The visor was a welding visor from Amazon, which was fairly flexible and well priced. However, it does collect dirt and scratches very easily and can be difficult to clean. It worked for this project, but I doubt I would use it again.

Instead of messing around with wiring, I decided to just use finger LEDs, as recommended by Real Life Spartan.
