how does adding photo's work

im having some diffaculty making my pics for my WIP come up.. maybe a little how to from someone who knows, to us... less... good people... i guess.. you get the idea, any help would be greatly appreciated

The reason yours failed is because you put link to the page that contains the pic, not the link to the pic itself. Look at the left side of the page. There's a box that says "Share This Image" and inside it you several links listed. Copy the one that says "IMG Code" and paste it on your post. Voila! Easy peasy.
