How to magnetize 3d printed weapons to my armor?

Hello all, I am nearing completion of my 3d printed ODST armor. I want to be able to magnetize weapons to my armor such as pistol on the hip and such. I bought some disk neodymium magnets off amazon here: magnets 1 and another pack here: magnets 2 and inlayed them in the print. Both of these ended up being way too weak, and even with multiple magnets stacked together, it couldn't support the weight of the 3d printed pistol.

What magnets would people recommend to actually hold up heavier props?

Printed weapons are going to be heavy for magnets. There's some tutorials on YouTube but they tend to aim at lighter foam weapons and still stack 10+ magnets:

Or Galactic Armor that used a specialized mount that has a magnet as well as V-slot & pin so that means two parts of the special system and thus one part has to mount to your weapon.

I'd also point out you need to hold WAY more than just the weight of the weapon. Magnets are especially susceptible to prying forces and sliding forces. The magnum can stay on your leg but slide just 1/10 of a mm with each step so by the time you take 20 steps its laying on the ground. The pistol grip is easy to get caught by a robe on a passing Jedi, or a cape on a superhero when you're in a convention and again, easy to get pulled off. If you do decide to go with magnets I'd highly recommend a pistol retention system like the military uses so when (not if) when it gets separated from your armor it doesn't fall.

ok thanks, that was my fear is that they would be too heavy, but I figured I'd see if anyone had figured it out
