I'm Back! ODST build

Boot caps are mounted over regular boots via an elastic band under the center of the boot and a spur strap around the back. the grieves I made 2 piece and calm shell open and clip together via the buckles and straps. The kneecaps are hard connected to the shin front panels. thighs are mounted to the shooter belt. The shooter belt holds the rest of the mid-section pieces.
Hmmm thanks ill keep this noted for when I plan to start doing my ODST I never really knew how you'd manage to attach them to each other before and wear thanks alot

Work done on painting and finishing the torso pieces. Just have the shoulders and forearms to paint and finish and I'm ready to suit up amd wear so I can make any adjustments or tweaks.

Well it's has been some years, what a decade since my Reach build. Gone from building in a craft room in my old apartment to now owning a home and having a whole shop setup in the basement. Now I'm back in the saddle with a build I've wanted to do for years. An ODST - kit from Mr. Bradley to be exact. Majority of the build is the kit but some parts are modified and or remade to suit my needs, I'm going for a nice detailed look with comfort being a major build point as having learned from a old spartan build wearing for long periods of time can be a chore and I wanted the ODST to able to be worn effortlessly to say.

Enough with the chit chat and onto the meat and potatoes build pics!

In leu comfort I decides to use a low profile combat vest as a base, plus I like the depth it adds to the suit.

Thanks, yeah I couldn't wait to get the shop setup in the basement. As for the kit it is a Sean Bradley kit, modified as needed and a few parts are made from foam for comfort, fitment and detail.
