Other: I have some composite material experience from school projects (building wings and entire RC airplanes from carbon fiber), and I'm interested in it, so I thought that this type of project would help me practice those skills. I'm starting now on the suit, since I have the free time, and to give me PLENTY of time before Halloween I guess (who knows what I'll do if (when?) I finish the suit early).

Wanted to say a BIG thank you to all the members who've posted incredible info into the multitudes.... and how very elated I am that this forum exists ! And of course, last but not least, I'd like to introduce myself as 'Sparten 122'. I look forward to chatting with many of you and hashing ideas about. I do have extensive modeling experience (30+ yrs) however, this will be my 1st ever full armor set. So I'm looking forward to the challange and would love to hear any comments and/or suggestions that come my way as I post periodically about the progression of my build. I also have many great suggestions I would love to share in the future..... But this must wait until Im promoted from 'Noob Sauce" S122..... out.

On the side, I am working on a halo reach noble 6 pep set to see how the process works. her is a pic of what I have so far. This is my first attempt at pepakura.
