I'm cheating a bit. This is my second post. I posted on the Electronics Help sticky the other day. I just watched the Noob video and I thought I better jump over here and intro myself before I get busted.

I have been following these forums for a while now and have read quite a lot of the stickies already.

I am currently building a Low Def Mark VI for my 7 year old. II have peped the entire right size for fitting purposes. I am scaling and printing the left side tonight to work on over the weekend. Hopefully the new scale will be spot on and I am ready to roll. I am doing it to learn the skill more than anything else. I am not a huge fan of Halo although I have played many hours of 10 person local Halo 3 at a friends house. I am hoping to be able to translate the skills I learn here into some custom armor I build for myself.

I have been attending Dragoncon in Atlanta for about the last 13 years so I am sure I have seen some of you guys there. I have never costumed for DC but I am hoping to possibly pull something together this year. Possibly from the video game Brink. I love their gear.

I am relatively proficient in PIC micro and Arduino programming. I am very proficient in VB.net and C#.net.
