i joined this site a while back for ideas and inspiration for costume design, as well i am a filmmaker and well i want to prove to the big boys that you can make films for cheap and looks amazing if you do the work yourself and use the skills of people around you to achieve amazing stuff. i mean look at the fan made films of games and stories out there they're amazing and they didn't have mahoosive budgets just dedication! so i want to become like them learn as much as i can to well make kool stuff and well bring my love to sci-fi to life for everyone just for fun not profit! who will join me?

Hello all,
I've been popping in on this forum from time to time but finally decided to jump in and make an account.
I'm usually known by TokyoRose on other forums, but it was taken on this one. (Probably by me at one point in time...)

Anyway, I'm generally interested in Sculpting and Make-Up Special effects and plan on attending Vancouver Film School in the near future. Lately though, I've been getting the urge to delve more into props and suit fabrication. I've never suited up for cons or events, and while this isn't my main goal, it could be fun from time to time. More so I'm interested in building wearable costumes to put on display and use as portfolio pieces.

The people of this site seem incredibly welcoming and knowlegable and I hope to be able to contribute and keep that mentality alive.
