Jango Fett Helmet?

There are significant differences between boba and Jango. It depends on how accurate you want to make it.

There are many different boba versions to do, but here are the basics:

Boba:
-Signature dent on the wear'ers upper left forehead
-Paint job (obvious)(different between ESB and ROTJ)
-RangFinder ear is seperated from the lower ear pieace (the left side ear's if looking from the front)
-RangFinder Box has a lens portion from a vintage camera (different between ESB and ROTJ)
-Rangfinder can swivel up and down, and has to working, alternating blinking LED's on the RF box
-Inside of the back keyslots, there is a MQ-1 calculator chip/board
-From looking at it from the front, the left cheek has a 3 holed dental Borden connector (looks like a pimple)

Jango:
-Can be with or without dent. Kamino/arena style has the elongated dent on the wear's left side
-Paint job
-Relativly smaller
-RF ear sit's directly on top of the lower ear (so that the prism detail fits into the lower ear like a slot)
-RF box is a different design
-Rangefinder stalk is in a fixed position-cannot move, and the RF box does NOT have LEDs
-Keyslots are "shorter" then boba's, same number of key slots though.
-No borden connector, but in the same spot, there is a very shallow countersunk hole

That's pretty much it. Ive built and painted one helmet that is a 2nd or 3rd generation ILM helmet, so it's roots are directly from the movie molds, and I am talking about the Jango helmet. I can post pics of it if you wish.

That list may come in handy when im doing the detail and what not. Some pics would be awesome, though :)

Here is my last commission. This is a ILM (Industrial Light and Magic) cast helmet. These come pretty much from the movie molds, so you litterally cannot get anymore accurate then this..

The Rang Finder set up. You can see that I permanantly attached the stalk to the ear.

For those that are familiar with cold casting, this helmet was casted in this method, however, the casting was considered "less then perfect" and had too many air holes on the dome, which were filled and primered over, so the silver is paint.

Hope this helps

Holy moly, that's so cool. Can you buy the cast? or like pay to get one made?

****UPDATE W00T********UPDATE W00T****
Finished the pep, well all of it but the antena and other ear bit.
The visor part makes it look like an RC helmet and a Clone helmet so much, considering the clone army is based off him, lol

pictures don't work.

So where would you get a helmet casted from the movie's molds?

Well, certain people just have the connections..unfortunatly, the person who's been making these stoped production, and I don't know if he will be offering these up again. They are very hard to come by. There is apparently a recaster I believe in australia who's been selling them on Ebay..but been told it's crap. Very expensive just for a raw cast.
