I guess I'll chime in here to clear some things up, and then I'm locking this thread.
Acehigh removed his files long before the incident with his work being claimed by someone else. He took down his files for reasons which he states clearly in this post here:

He was unhappy with the gimme-gimme-gimme attitude in a large population of the forum, and was tired of people complaining about flaws or not high enough acccuracy. As a 3d modeler it's perfectly within his rights to remove his files, and everyone who thinks that they have the right to demand that the files be available need to chill out.
It was after this that another member posted Acehigh's handplate model (as well as models created by rundown) and claimed the work as his own. That member was banned at that time for stealing the work of others.
After the forum switch most previously banned members became unbanned, and it went unnoticed. The member who was already banned started posting again, and Acehigh took notice of it. He thought that he had never been banned, and he had already expressed discontent about the under-moderation of the noob forum, and he chose to vent. He requested his own banning, and the staff complied with his wish.
That is what happened, those are the facts.
And everyone here will respect his wish not to have his files reposted. Any topics or posts containing them will be removed and the poster will receive an infraction. Just because he's been banned doesn't mean you can go against what he wanted. In fact it's exactly why he took them down in the first place.
If you need the models that bad, find another modeler to make them.
