It has been awhile, but homework and midterms are slowing down for spring break and I got a hold of a gallon of Rebound 25. I am finishing up the molds for the M1 and here are some progress pics. I made these molds up yesterday.

Here is what I have done.

All the molds.

Half the mold as it cures for the barrel. I have re-enforced it with dowels because it is such a thin mold and I want to keep it rigid.

Hope you enjoy the pics.

Oh my word, I wonder if shipping one of these would almost be a hassle!

Fantastic Man, You are made of Awesomesuace!

Lee you never ever cease to amaze. I can hardly wait to see whatever you cook up next. We always wonder what is coming up

Here is what the finished copy of the M1 Garand looks like.

wow.............................................i dont what else to say just wow....................

Wow, thats impressive Lee. Are you only making this as a "one off", or are you doing a run? I would imagine that airsofters could use one of these to mod one of their less well made rifles.

Thanks everyone.

It is not a one off.

Man Lee, you make me wanna drop all of my current projects and build either a Solothurn S-18 or a Lewis 303 aircraft machine gun. Beastly! :) Have you ever considered selling wooden WWI, WWII era guns? I know people around here would pay seriously good money for a wooden M1

nice to see a wwII replicas an nice change from halo

It will be interesting to see some of the rare weapons like the Sturmgewehr 44

jesus, i drill with one on a regular basis, and you built this from scratch too, just... outstanding... i dont know what else to say, so ill just stop here...

Looks awesome Lee, ever thought of moving to Burbank, California? They could really use a prop master like you for movies and tv shows.
