You can try this one but you will need to do some repair. There are some surface issues but if someone took a few minutes, they could probably repair the problems.

What program did you use for this?

Isn't that a Star Wars Episode II Clone Trooper Rifle. If it is that thing in so movie accurate. with a great paint job the thing would look so real.

What are you looking for in a MA5C Assault Rifle? Lightweight? Durable? Hollow for electronics? No assembly (ready to go out of the box)?

The reason I ask is this....
I am intending on making this gun out of rubber for maximum durability. I can rotocast it however so I can put lights and a counter in it. I can also cast the rubber version with a hollow area for the electronics but personally, I feel that a solid non-lit version would be best.

Personally I'd agree with the solid non-lit version for trooping, I've never done it myself (I use the smaller SE-14R) but I know some of the TK's over here accidentally hit small kids in the head with the butt of their E-11's, so a soft(er) weapon that isn't going to give people a concussion would be awesome :D

Well, a rubber weapon isn't really that much softer. It's more like the hardness of a car tire material. The idea is that you can accidentally drop it and not worry in the slightest.

Ahh, I see... I've never actually used/held any of the rubber weapons so I wasn't sure just how hard they'd be. It would be nice to not have to worry about breaking the weapon if you drop it though, I found out the hard way that even a short fall will do significant damage to a blaster.

Yeah. I did that too. It was a bummer since I spend a ton of time cleaning up the blaster to make it presentable.

The blaster that broke...I don't have it anymore but it was resin. Resin is great for things that won't be dropped.

I gotta show this on this thread. We finished our Star Wars electrobinoc master. I can't wait to get this in the mold.

We're very proud of these because they were a complete nightmare to make. The only parts that we didn't make are the parts that come from an old model kit.

Nice, I recognize the hyperfirm stuff, you guys are awesome, This project is going to come out flawless.

BTW....Does anyone have the game file and/or drawings/pics of the Spartan Laser?

If only pictures, I'd like perfect angles if possible.... profile, top front, back etc.

I can't figure out how to get the pictures from Halo 3 to my account mail.

I do all my modelling from image reference using the theatre feature, if you're using theatre and connected to live it should upload the pics you take to your bungie.net account automatically.
