The warthog on youtube is the WETA hog used in the landfall shorts.

I believe ADOR is using images of that hog for refrence.

UPDATE, sort of

Didn't get much done to the Warthog this time home with Christmas going on. Been looking for a new chassis. Nothing major. Just a new chassis to drop the body on. Haven't had anyluck on finding a good motor and trans for cheap. So i have been looking for a complete blazer with a bad body on it. That way i won't have to worry about getting a new steering box and redoing the brake system. Another set back was the seats. I got them ordered but the Christmas rush had them come in almost a week later than usual. ( My seats ) Next time home from work will be time to make the frame work for the seats, trans tunnel, dash framework, console frame work out of 1" x 1" tubing. When i have my seat height where i want it then i will re do the drops on the sides to make sure the height on them is right. I did get some more of the little angle cuts and ends capped off and welded up. Sorry not pictures. It was a busy month at home.

Christmas is always busy. Don't sweat it.

Keep this project up, though, because I wanna see Weta get kicked in the pants when your homemade hog outdoes theirs. ;)

UPDATE,

Finally got the shop cleared out and the Warthog back in. Finished welding up the last of the open gaps that i needed closed up and started work on the seat frame work. I will drill holes out tomorrow and bolt the seats down, and see how much the seats need to be raised up from there current position. From there it will be on to the lower windshield frame, dash and console frame work.

UPDATE

FEB 13

Got a little more done today. Got the seats raised up where i wanted them and welded into place. Then i started with the transmission tunnel. From here i can start to frame up the dash and middle console. I will also be working on the drops for the sides. I knew they still needed some work but was waiting till the seats were set.

Wow, looking really good- I hadn't checked this thread in a while... keep it up! (And if I ever get around to building one, perhaps we shall do a warthog roadtrip? :D)

UPDATE

MAY 07, 2010

Today i got the warthog back in the shop and back at it again. I cut the side drop on the drivers side and lengthened the back part of it. Took my measurements and did the same for the passenger side.
