I am looking into sculpting a helmet. Since helmets are by far the best part of any costume. Anyway can someone recommend a good place to get one for sculpting? Thanks

but if you are looking for on the cheap you can get a foam head for wigs at your local wig shop for less than 5 bucks and then make a stand for it using pvc and wood. only problem is the wig heads are not quite full size they tend to be a little small. or you could get some alienate and mold your own head and then pour plaster into the alienate mold and then you know it will fit you.

I am a larger than average person. So even an expensive one would need adjustments. I like the idea of making a mold of my head. But I have only seen how to make body molds on here. How would I go about making a head mold without suffocating?

Sean Bradley has a real good tutorial on how to make one pretty cheap using packing tape & expanding foam (Great Stuff).

Let someone you trust cover your head wile you breathe down a hose or something? Or just not cover your nose or mouth. They seem to be able to put your head in plaster at the hospitals without you suffocating
