Veryyyy nice! Way to go, yo! You look like a ninja with your underarmor on!

That's exactly what my friends said once they saw it :p

Okaaay, I have a kinda update.

Once again, my interwebz is capped, because it r silleh, so pics are on delay.

At the moment I have the inside of my Shin rondo'd, 9almost);
all of the inside of my Codpiece rondo'd; same with bicep, except it warped, so I'm gonna try and get ahold of my friend's heat gun and reshape it (if it works with rondo);
my left boot heel is fully resinned and glassed, and needs some sanding adminsitered;
the toe cap is pretty much finished, I just need to touch up the paint;
the right forearm is practically done, I just need to touch up the paint and add some padding;
my handplates just need some paint touchup done and they too shall be completed.

I had some painting issues - I had been doing the main paintjob (tan and silver), then spraying areas in flat black and wiping off and smudging the excess to complete the worn look. Hwoever, when I wiped off the black my previous coats of paint smudged WITH it (even after I left them for a day or two) and so I had to redo it all.
I basically did the same technique, except I covered everything in shaving cream (really crap one I bought on holiday that is useless) and then wiped it off afterwards (exactly like using toothpaste.

Only problem was, the cream kinda solidified over night and I had to scrape it off with a knife xD

Pics once I has time!

Sounds like you've gotten a lot of work done! Can't wait to see more pics!
Thanks Abby! I should have an update tomorrow sometime ;)

Holy shiz bro, that's pretty awesome stuff!
Good job on the helmet, it looks really neat!

Thanks Cirkob! I'm planning on updating tomorrow, as I don't have another exam until next week. I've almost finished pepping the torso, and the paint on the shin is pretty much completed. I think I'm just going to do all the painting rough for the moment and touch it up (or get my artist friend to <_<) at a later date.

Sooo, as promised, here be an update:

Back in the ninja suit, wearing the completed (though not fully padded) forearms:

The right one is a TAD tight near the wrist... meaning, it tends to scrape skin off. YEAH, should probably fix that...

Progress pics on my handplates:

As said, painting didn't go so well the first time round. Make sure you use paints that like each other. Two of the pieces I'll be spending a while fixing...

Right Boot process:

Obviously I need to finish the heel, and I need to touch up on the paint job. Also, I was wondering what people do for their soles?

Left Shin is pretty much done:

Aaaaand the torso:

Initially I thought it was too small, but it seems to be pretty much perfect. Obviously, my Scout chest is far too big, so I'm gonna have to redo that...
Also, you may have noticed the back isn't exactly... pretty. Yeah. Me and small pieces are not friends. At all. O:

Tomorrow I shall finish the torso pep completely (that is, glue to halves together and add in the struts) and hopefully get the ab plate done. I'm down to my last two glue sticks though, so that's a bit of a bummer.

As said previously, I'm just doing rough paint jobs at the moment, and shall sort out the final job later. As always, I'd love to here comments and advice :D

nice to see an update, looks like your making some progress, and yup those details on the back of the chest definatly are not your friends, I hate doing that part. but it don't look to bad, keep it going your doing a great job. hope you get it all done soon so we can see another suit finished, keep us posted

Looks good so far! Don't worry about the chest, I can't see any issues with it. And remember that after it's all Bondo-ed and painted, any imperfections pretty much disappear, especially considering that no one is going to scrutinize it that closely when finished (except for yourself of course! ;))

May I ask why you're doing the rough paint job? Seems like it will add some work later when you want to do a more polished paint job.

That's the plan Hyper! Thanks for the comment :D

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for :p I get kinda picky about imperfection in the pepping, as it's tuined a few of my pieces (IMO).
And the main reason is that I'm not a particularly good artists. I have a friend who is much better at that then me (and is actually working on an Iron Man suit) so I'll see if he can help me out. Also, I'm kind of in a hurry here (I want to get it finished by Halloween at the latest, and school is a bit of a bummer) so my priority is to get the pieces finished structurally rather then aesthetically.

Thanks for the comment BTW :D

I'm lovin your Progress!

Thanks 50! Buy my calculations I'm about...

Helmet: 90%
Chest: 20%
L Bicep: 0%
R Bicep: 30%
Handplates: 95%
L Forearm: 95%
R Forearm: 95%
Handplates: 95%
Codpiece: 40%
R Shin: 0%
L Shin: 95%
R Thigh: 20%
L Thigh: 30%
R Boot: 70%
L Boot: 0%

Which makes... about 42% done? Yay maths! Anyway here's those progress pics I promised...

Now excuse me, I need to finish cleaning for the party tomorrow night... which includes my room and workbenches (completely coverd in junk, unfortunately <_<). I'm hoping to have some more done by next friday, as my last two exams are Chem and History, on Tuesday and Wednesday. Till then!

0.0! EPICK!!! I love the weathering on it!
And sir, you have one hell of THE EPICK HAIR!

Thank you sir! The epicness of my hair is inversely proportional to how much time I spend on it... usually, the more time I spend, the worse it is. I haven't had it cut in about 2 months now, and mum keeps complainging of it getting in my eyes... meh. I prefer it longish :p

So, UPDATE!

Well, I didn't get around to cleaning my room (do we ever?), but I HAVE got some done in the past few weeks:

Firstly, my ab plate is pretty much complete. It did warp a tad, but it shouldn't be an issue:

Without:

And with le torso:
DSCF0619.jpg

As per usual, the weathering here didn't go quite as planned (paint mixed, again -_-) but it turned out fine anywayz.

I've also finished ressining my left bicep:
DSCF0625.jpg

Obviously, I'm going to need to take a heat gun to it and reshape it a bit; and that part where it ate through the glue is a tad annoying.

Aaaaand, the outside of the right thigh is pretty much done:
DSCF0624.jpg

I learnt from my mistakes with the left thigh, and added the inner thigh as a sort of support strut.

And and, my visor arrived the other week:
DSCF0627.jpg

I'm going to have to take a heat gun to this as well, but I'm debating mking a different helmet altogether (CQB, mahbe). However, that will be the absolute last thing I do.

Due to school getting a bit hectic, and the weather being quite cold now, my updates will probably be declining in number. However, holidays in two weeks, so I should get a lot done then!
