Your pep work is amazing man! As far as sizing goes, I'd say glass the pieces & then try triming the return edge at the topto see if you can get your leg in there. Also remember that you will probably be wearing a skin tight suit underneath your armor & it's gonna fit a bit differently.

Good luck & I'll be watching for more updates!

Great job man! As to sizing I've seen some people often take away that inside section and replace it with foam, I did it for my custom eva - grenadier I'm working on now and it worked fine I used a combination of 'eva foam' and ' foamies'. If you choose to do this just make the foam a little bigger since when layered, its thick.
Other wise you could just hinge it like NaasadTal said.
Hope it helps!
Kal

If you check it, it isn't. I already unfolded it myself. I plan on building it next. We'll see how it goes lol.

I think you'll find it is. It's hidden out of the way of the main body of the unfold, but it's there. I wouldn't recommend attempting it unless you're really good at micro-folds.

I could unfold the file for you if you'd like, though.

I actually took the game ripped PDO version and unfolded it myself. I did a pretty good job to... at least i think lol. We'll see when i put it together. It's sitting printed on my desk right now.

Well, good luck regardless. Shout me up if you need assistance, though, I'm more than happy to throw something together for you.

Unfolding the gamerip and then putting it together in pep will be problematic because of intersecting planes inside the model. I'll upload in the archive the one that I unfolded myself a long time ago but never uploaded anywhere and it includes the UA addon.

Here's the link:

Tonight's progress included lots of resin, plastic cups, disposable brushes, and fiberglass cloth. I'm gunna need more cloth asap. I got the first layer of fiberglass on the chest portion of the torso. Layer #2 comes tomorrow. I also glassed the inside of the left bicep and grenadier shoulder attachment (which is impossible to get inside of -_-). I got a nice thick layer of resin on the inside of the right bicep and security attachment. Fiberglassing is definitely not my favorite thing to do. I'm considering cutting out part of the inside "wall" on either side of the grenadier shoulder. Here's pictures.

Very nice work man...cant wait to see everything bondo'd

Cool! Can't wait for this to be finished!

Me 3 lol.

Quick question for you all: is 2 layers of fiberglass necessary? I'm almost out of cloth and money, but if it really adds that much more rigidity to the armor, i don't want to skimp. I want this set to last.

Let me know your opinions or what you guys do and your experiences!

2 layers is always better. I definitely understand the fundage thing, but like you said, it's best not to skimp

I'm jealous of you foam users lol. This process takes sooo much time, but it's fun and i enjoy doing it. Thanks for the compliment. It's not perfect, but i strive to get it as neat as possible.

Your build is looking great. As for us foam users, I see so many Pep'd helmets turn out fabulous that I'm saving my foam helmet until last. No need to be jealous of us so readily. Foam is great for armor, but heating symmetrical curves for a helmet.... I gotta go practice that. :D
Keep building!

So, i wasn't going to show you guys just yet, but i figured i might as well. He's a rough, sloppy version of my paint job.

That's the primer. My colors are black and orange, or as it's called, burnt copper. There will be no gray on the final product. I just didn't want to waste a bunch of painted, and at the same time, wanted to see how my colors looked together.
