Mirage Armor with Artaius Helmet (3D printed)

Ladies, gentlemen, and aliens; it’s time for another build thread. This here thread will be focused on my current project, which I’m getting ready to go full force into, and it’s a Mirage Armor Core, with the Rakshasa radio shoulder, and an Artaius helmet. The color scheme will be the 2024 Cloud 9 color pallet (not sponsored), which I chose because I thought it looked cool. The armor will be my very best attempt at a Tier 3 Deployment here and plan on showing it off at HCS 2025. So let’s get started.

First and foremost, I have the Helmet printed with all the little gizmos that attach to it. Along with that, the radio shoulder piece, both forearms, and shins are printed. They’re painted differently cause I had a different project in mind, but I need to repaint them.

Love to see someone giving that coating some love! Don't have any particular team I support, but the C9 coatings have been some of my favorite.

Printer has been giving me issues so I guess I’ll show off the Battle Rifle progress. I’m still debating on making it match my coating or make it some sort of default colors so I can use it everywhere else.

My other issue is wanting to do a “thigh attachment” called Twin Negotiator but can’t find the files anywhere for it. I’ll either not do it or add it in a different way for myself using UNSC knifes instead of Banished knives. Just a small update today.

Are you wanting to use the banished knives? I’ve been thinking of doing a handful out of foam.

Maybe, I need to find the files for them first and I’ll make that decision.

The wood rod is for extra strength in the gun and to help line up the parts. A lot of prop guns have them now

Oh that’s cool!! I wouldn’t have thought of that. If you want I can whip up at least an .svg for the banished knives. Someone that knows 3d modeling could probably finish it.
