Its okay if u aint a big fan of rogue. i like it more than the usal mk6 head dunno its just my taste =D
I would never give up since im so deep into my project now that retreat aint an option !

Thank you for cheering me up a bit . made me smiling :D

btw where are u from ? woher genau? ^^

I just finished my second forearm and puh it was ******* awful but now im glad its done.

To be honest I like every other helmet more than the rogue :D

Ich bin aus Vöcklabruck, bin aber die meiste Zeit unterm Jahr in Wien, weil ich da studiere.

Great . i realised that there are no support straps for my forearms neither for my thighs. /sigh

Maybe you can take the support struts from the other file, at least for the thighs, there are 2 versions, the model is the same, unfolding is slightly different, but the support struts should match. With the forearms I can't help you, because as far as I know there are no supports for the HD forearms.

after working the whole night i finished the right biceps !!

have to work in 2 hours and sleeping wont pay off ... Energy drink lets get ready to rumble !! :D

You're crazy! XD

YEEEEEEHAAAAA my stuff arrived and i feel like a 5year old hyperish kid !!! :D

Take a look . it didnt cost me that much to get it !! good that i know the right persons! :)

You're crazy! XD

Its nice to see another rogue on here :)

I totally forgoto to comment on yours. i wasnt even signed up and i was excited watching your progress :)
thumbs up on ur project ... definitely.

Well guys Heres some more progress
I resined my helmet and my forearms since they all have no support stripes !

I had no problems with it... Started with a thin coat and i let it dry . it dryed rly fast to be honest.

After the drying i decided to bring on a thicker coat . why? since the thiner was on it it felt still like paper but with the thin coat it wont get damaged ( the shape of the pieces)

Heres a pic

PS next time i will get an overall to resin the stuff. i had a drop on my forearm and it burned a bit :$
i also saw how the chemicals reacted in the sun when i used too much resin first. it almost started burning but then i cooled it off ! So care guys. dont underestimate those chemicals

Ok i have a little issue. The support stripe on the codpiece cant be divided . i tryed it but theres no green line to do it.
Should i just print it and glue it with a piece of paper together or does anybody know how to divide it else than pressing the divide button?

I improvised a bit and glued the seperate parts together without dividing it since its not possible but im still curious how to avoid this i saw the same problem on a sniper model ( barrel )

dividing and/or moving parts around can be done with the pep designer (you just can't save with out buying it)

does anyone have the mk6 thighs HD ? i mean a other sort of .... mine had no support stripes D:

quick answer would be cool guys . :)

Resining part one is done . i would have fieberglased it if there wouldnt be no rain =/ i had luck that i at least finished resining all the parts except the tighs. this is where i need you guys. i dont wanna mess em up and im asking for HD thighs with support straps :/

Well if there is no such an item ill have to improvise .

Here a pic on my attic with the resined stuff ( i fieberglased one of the forearms oh man with rondo this will weight a ton ! ) xD

Looking good. As far as your issue with the supports for the belt. You can print them out, then glue them but they wouldn't be as solid as one piece. I'd glue the pieces together and then use that as a template to cut out a solid piece of cardboard to use as a support. Then you wouldn't have to worry about it folding on you.

As far as other thigh files with "straps". . . I'm looking through what I've found and saved, but I don't think that I have anything for a MKVI that's HD like that.

I have no problems any more with the belt ( codpiece) tomorrow i have to fieberglass + rondo all my stuff ...

But i dont know what to do with the thighs . maybe i should try ti the same way i did with the forearms ... but i still am afraid that the shape will get damaged. So if you have any other idea i would really appreciate it.
Anyways Thank you so far that you tryed to help me ... really kind of you ... u sure u dont want to adopt me ? hahahahah jk ;)

You can't divide this long support-struts, only way to pep these is to print them on 2 pages and then glue them together.
This will help you glue the parts together

You're welcome for the attempted help. Here's an idea on your thighs for supports. Cut out a support from cardboard to make a triangle out of it. Attach it on the top by putting it on the inside opening going from the top of the outer thigh and then to the top of the inner thigh. On the bottom, you can cut a support to just go straight across the bottom on the inside opening. I've seen some thigh files with those in the pep design, just not the thigh that you're building. That should help keep it straight and true while you're hardening the outside and then you can take them off to harden the inside.

Hello guys ... Heres some progress :

I could beat my own butt for not thinking on the bondo thing with fieberglass in it could have made it much faster than fieberglassing each part then applying rondo on it.

Well Here are some piccehs of a whole day working :p
CAM00226019f.jpg

The helmet isnt rondoed so far but i put some rondo on the details and covered it with fieberglass . ( dave cereal gave me that hint)

And the only 2 parts that are rondoed and fieberglased :
