Thanks mate! well ima build a magnum for sure and a ma5c as i told u ! out of styrofoam . ill skip the pepakura on this since styrofoam is much easier to handle.

Heres my first contact with it ( yes the color attacked the surface ) its pretty ugly but i learned alot from it so my next is gonna be more awesome ! SPECIAL THANKS TO DAFRONTLINETROOPER and his tuts !

Yes . it is crap haha . but at least i know how to handle it now . Any ideas which coloring wont hurt the surface? i guess h2o based ones right ?

ps dont wonder why my armor progress isnt that fast anymore. much studying and i think i wont make too many detail thingies. i can add them later so i will be ready for halloween and novembre 6th

Thorn696 was telling me about a polycrylic coating that he used on his foam weapons to protect it and not dissolve the foam when trying to harden or protect it. You may want to get in touch with him to see about what exactly he used. You could also just use regular water-based acrylic paints and not hurt the foam. Another idea would be to use smooth on 300 or 320 to coat the outside. This would give you a hard shell on it and a surface you could paint all in one.

Well this is my second styrofoam magnum . its still not perfect but its not that bad in my opinion

Well heres the sanded and painted magnum . No tperfect as i said but the color made his job. i love it

paint didnt dry yet and the light kills the shiny effect. :X

Hey guys. this might be kinda ridicolous and annoying but i reall have issues with the MA5C drawing on my styrofoam .

Im always afraid i could do something Asymetrical and that alone prevents me from starting it. i saw many blueprints and with the magnum it was easy just print and overlay.

So my quetion . is it possible to overlay a ma5c in lets say 3 A4 sites? if yes how to print it in 3 sections?

Anyone able to help? i would appreciate it really :/

Yo guys. Well since i cant wait so long for help i tryed something. I had luck to have still the old ma5c pepakura assault rifle ( was my first project though)

I found it on the attic and i just drew some lines and voleau ! thats it looks crappy so far but it was alot of hard work . wait for the details haha

But as your "rival", I think you could do better with the wepons, IE: the pistol's hand guard could be touched up to be a bit thicker.

Yeah... maybe 4-5 cm bigger with the piece in front of your grip. Make sure you critique my ****.

Hello guys !

No im not dead you all noticed the forum crash . i apologize that i didnt have the time to finish my armor yet but i had the exam that i needed to pass. and guess what i did


Well there some minor things to do like the belt and the suspender thing ( connecting my girdle with my thighs and the shoulders)

Well not to bore you ima post my helmet progress so far .

Its not 100% done just some spot putty around the visor ( the epoxy ) and thats it . ill camo it at the end when EVERYTHING is ready to paint. this is just the prime color ... to keep the LEDs as simple as possible i bought some LED lights and glued it on the inside . to prevent the strong light i used some old milky glas infront of the lights.

PS my second visor (this in the helmet) is scratched . i didnt pay attention when i cleaned it ( i used soft materials but i guess the epoxy went with and scratched it ) luckily i have one more but the last one. ill think bout to replace it if im not satisfied with the scratchy one.
