After some burned thumbs and a dead arm i sanded my helmet today. its almost finished ( adding some minor details later )
This is how it looks so far.
and the back
its still not 100 % smooth but almost :$ damn its so much work to push it to perfection D:

So, you're sanding this all by hand? With no power tools? I'm impressed. Even if you were using power tools, this helmet is looking incredible.
And, looking back to some of your earlier posts, I think you lucked out with the shins; they still look a bit large, but not nearly as large as I had feared. Everything is looking great. Keep it up!

You have ALLOT of skill. I was surprised you were using your hands for sanding, it looks perfect!
I just have a big sanding machine which cant really go for the details its like 20% machine work and 80% by hand ....

makes me really happy ! Well i bondoed the chest today and the biceps so far. it is really a time eating project . but worth it !

Little update : I cut the pieces of the ma5c . Ill be working on her sometime( i used the normal one not the HD one) but ill ad some details later

BAM BAM new progress so far ! i sanded my sweet sitting tool off !

( the shoes are really tight but they fit ! )
whatcha say so far ?
PS : The shins are big . but in my opinion they are just fine . well i thought alot to remake them but as it seems they fit ...
And they still have no foam to protect my body.
Btw people came out to watch it

Helmet is looking pretty good from the pic you put up. If you aren't happy with it, then by all means do more. Now would be the time to cut in or and bondo for details. It looks pretty amazing the way you have it now though. Keep up the good work.

If you have Halo 3, just pop in the game, switch your multiplayer character over to use the rogue, run out into an open area and stand there for a while, then open up theater and pause the playback and get any angle you want.
