Foam Mk VII CQB

So the ODST despite being 95% done, is being put on hold for logistical reasons but we still have foam and down time so we are going to be working on the Girlfriends request of a MK VII with cqb bucket. She saw the mk 7 and instantly decided she liked that one way more and apologized. Luckily we only ever cut out the boots. So now we have 2 mk 7 builds in this thread when the foam files drop.

So have the first actual progress of the build done after the masters modeled and unfolded the files. Got the boots knocked out. They are still a little rough and need some clean up and gonna reskin some parts to hide seams. But here they are.

Small bit of progress on the shins got them all cut out and some bevels done.

Got the shins done. Was some very interesting pieces to make thats for sure.

So got the knee done, with a wee bit of simplifying to the overall shape. Also did a single thigh as my the modeler for the armor is sick and can't put it on to confirm sizing to make a 2nd yet.

Small update. With some heat shaping for the thigh it looks like it a good size. However the knee looks like it needs to be shrunk down a wee bit.
