Will do! I based it off of this guy and his harness. He has great content on suit building so if you haven’t watched him yet I definitely recommend taking a look.
SO, I have had a few people asking about strapping recently. After making several suits for my husband @Kusak , I have learned a few things on what has worked for us. So, when @Lobbster contacted me to help him make his strapping I jumped on it. Our plan is to place the strapping inside his...
Worked on the shoulder gasket 3d model today, i think its mostly complete! tweaking has to be done to make it actually fit into the suit but good progress. I am planning on either printing it in pla, tpu, or maybe getting it molded in silicon. Any tweaks you think I should do?

the chest definitely isnt complete without this part, I'm surprised more suits don't have it.
Im basing my suit off of this one seen in a few Microsoft ads, my goal is to get this level of quality. In order to do that, i need parts like this shoulder gasket.

Ive printed a number of new parts recently, including parts that will be used as molds for the elbow and knee gaskets, as well as the shoe covers for my boots! Also, I printed the first draft of my shoulder/arm gaskets. In the pictures are just the raw prints and some still have supports on.
Ive also been working on modifying Moe's neck gasket 3d model to work for me. What you see in these pictures is the draft 3d print of my trying to get the length right. I think I've got the right length, now I need to give it a less "super vertical" look and have the center bow inward. Once I get it right, I will print out the full neck gasket and use that to have a mold be made for silicon casting.
Dude those look great yeah just let me know when you send that stuff to me sho I can watch for it. I made a small mold for a part ro test everything before I put your abs in for molding out came out awesome so I am going to start your mold as soon as I get home from work in the morning.

So!
I wasnt super thrilled with how the first version of my shoulder gasket came out, so i spent some time tweaking it. Red arrows point towards the updated version. I didnt like how flat and straight the first one was, so I extended and rounded it out. I also made the hole where my arm goes through smaller, along with a bunch of other small tweaks. This version is closer to my inspiration, which is the last image.
Let me know what you think of the change! I always embrase constructive criticism in all my work, so if theres something that looks of, please let me know!
Finished printing both of the custom shoulder gaskets! the slide perfectly into the chest and back, which can be seen in the first Image. Its a bit hard to have everything connected right now though.
I think the current plan is to eventually have all 4 parts of the chest plate(front, back, 2 shoulders) be connected as one piece. It would be able to be put on top down over my head.
Ive been printing out parts to be used as molds to be later made into silicon parts for my undersuit. So far Ive printed out the knee and elbows, and just finished printing the shorts.
Ive also been modding Moes fantastic neck gasket model to fit more with my project. Ive made it longer as to extend all the way up my neck up to my chin, and I extended a ring at the top of the gasket as to cover up the hole in between the helmet and my chin/neck. I also gave it a more natural curved shape at the neck. LMK if you want any of the files Ive made, like the shoulder gasket or the modified neck. I will be releasing all the 3d models Ive worked on (except the ones I initially payed for, like the base armor set Im using from etsy) eventually.
Ive been sanding my helmet for the last few days, among other things. Starting to get a finish i am satisfied with in a bunch of places, but there are still plenty of trouble spots I need to fix. For the helmet, at least, I'm going for as close to perfection as possible.
