The detail under the top under part is a little small....

everything else looks wonderfully done, very nice. I like it, Keep up the good work ;)

thanks a lot! now on the the chest! i"ve already made one but i made a few mistakes plus it was the low res version so i thought i'd just do another in the hi res. just finishing the cutting!

Your side vents look a little wired, like the grooves are really spaced far apart. Sorry If it's sounds mean or discouraging, I just think the vents need to be more" crammed" together

i noticed that too... it is only on that size though. the other side ins much more "crammed" in. but i feel that once everything is painted and such it wont matter as much. it is not glued in though so i may go back and space then a little differently. thanks for the observation!

ok i re-did the side vents and i think this is going to work. i spaced them a little different. i have both sides so you can compare.

and yes they are spaced out a little further but i kinda like it that way. makes them seem more like vents than tubes... i dont know. it will be good.... i hope

that looks better. are you going to put on a coat of primer, to find"imperfections"?

i already have. mi"m happy with it. i am going to use plastic in a vacuum mold so it should be pretty smooth

Your vacuum forming?

But that usually causes alot of loss in detail?

How many sections are you going to vacuum form it in?

Looks like nice work but vacuum forming it in plastic is going to cause you to lose some detail in your mold.

The adjustments you made look good by the way.

It looks pretty good, but I can't see the detail or curves that well because it lacks a single color paint sheme- a camera just can't capture it clearly if it's not primed. What I can see looks good though. I'd be intersted in how vac forming a mark vi would work, what are the advantages of that over a more traditional latex mold and smoothcast helmet? If you already have a vac table I guess it may save some cash but I think that the other way is tried and true. Then again, if nobody ever tried anythig new we would never learn anything. Keep us updated, I'd like to see the result.

off topic question....

where would i go about getting a armor progress sig like alot of the guys here have? i feel left out..

either way.. the mk6 looks damn good :]
