Seriously, if you guys like woodsball, why don't ya give airsoft a try? Its quite a bit of fun, more realism, and is more versatile. Plus, ya don't get paint on everything...

in paintball, the paint will just wipe off. even shirts

Can you guys explain how you play airsoft, i dont see how you can call yourself out.

Airsoft depends mainly on the honour system.
You get shot, you stand up and call out hit.

'Course the system is open to abuse, some kevlar cowboys..Grr.
But then so is paintball. At least it was the times I played it.

One of the OpFor party ran in getting hit all the time and grabbed the flag and ran out... Big suprise! The Marshall didn't see anything. Just like he hadn't all day. Twat. Next game we went for head shots. And some other parts..

So which airsoft hurts. I have 4 guns but always thought it to be stupid to shoot myself to see how it hurt.

Airsoft guns (excepting the good ones) don't really hurt at decent range, but they can hurt pretty bad at close range.

i gave a bud a welt a quarter inch tall and about half an inch wide on his foot with my arisoft gun. its the non-knockoff version of the f-10 pistol (cant remember mines acutal name )

It stings, especially up close. You will know to call yourself out, or some people unload with their M60s...and that is not pleasant, lemme tell ya

Airsoft can hurt more than paintballs initially, but the paintballs hurt more afterwards. Thats what I came to realize.

yeah, i still have welts/bruises from the game in question. and it doesnt look like theyll be going away soon

I know people who are missing parts of teeth from airsoft.....

But both are cool. I prefer the Milsim of airsoft over paintball, but that's just me.

I always wear full face protection when airsofting.. If it's good enough for MC....

Yeah airsoft hit's at close range on exposed skin hurt. But at range they don't. I got more bruises from one afternnon at Paintball than two years plus airsofting.

I use my iron sights, because unlike the MC, I haven't got a HUD inside my visor with a reticle....

So I use only goggles, not a full mask

i have a special airsoft mask, the ears are mad of rubber, and it has much less protection area, pretty much only my mouth, ears, and eyes
