that looks really great for paper mache. did you resin it then paper mache? i tried to do a paper mache helm out of cardboard, but it got all soggy and warped majorly.

i used 2 coats of this stuff to harden the pep helm BEFORE i did any paper mache.

and your big problem was CARDBOARD! its just not good for paper mache. mine i will say warped slightly but not enough to say its ruined. i would say try it again, or keep going. i used cardstock instead of cardboard. works way better.

thanks alot!! i made it a while ago (its still sittin in my basement : ) i moved on and have made a helm out of cardboard and packing tape, after re modeling it (cut cut cut!!!) i'm going to paint it with some kind of plastic paint the spray paint it.

my uncles (spartan161) helm, just a hair too small for him to wear

post any comments..............and dont mind the cast, i litterally crushed a joint in my hand when i had too much to drink
