Props Nerf Guns For Weapons

So I was looking at some images of Nerf Guns, and came across these photos.

As you can see, Nerf Guns look pretty cool custom painted. I think they would make nice replica guns for those who don't want to use pepakura, wood, cardboard, etc.

What do you guys think?

There's a thread a couple of pages back in the Noob Forum of a nice mod to the Nerf Recon which turned it into a pretty good looking SMG. I'm having one of my buddies try to duplicate that for his own costume.

Nerf guns have always been big with the Steam/Cyber-punk groups because they take so easily to modding and painting.

I'm planning on putting Longshot internals inside my sniper when I finish it (so far I only have a few pep pieces). It would also be easy to put Maverick internals inside an M6.



That being said, I think it would be a much better bet to put the mechanisms inside guns than to use stock nerf shells. But that's just my 2 cents.

those look awesome! im currently working on turning my recon into a brute spiker, then i was going to use another recon and customize it with parts from this biz bee toy gun to make it look like an assault rifle

I am actually working on a barret .50 cal nerf gun remake. I have also modded other nerf guns as well. Shooting darts is teh kewl.

i already started to make an ma5k out of a long shot, all i have to do is add a buttstock, muzzle, rail and enlarge the grip hole.

Those are some nice examples of mods done to NERF weapons. I personally have always liked the look of the Longshot. Haven't gotten around to buying one myself, but I've already got a few ideas in mind for some modifications :cool

i used dreadmullets, dimensions, anyway i got the top rail done, and i started a sniper rifle.
