Nerf Recon CS-6+Modding=Brute spiker?

I've been wondering: can you mod a Nerf Recon CS-6 into a brute spiker?

Just use the pistol portion,

spray-paint it, add the two spike things and fire? I think the recon would be a perfect candidate for the spiker because it's the right size, and the magazine is in front of the trigger, like the spiker.

Reply if you've been wondering the same thing, if you've seen something like this before, or if you made something like this before.

I was gonna do this, but I don't really know where to start because of the lack of pepakura files of the spiker.

its do able, and you don't really need pep files to mod it, even though one does exist, i started modding my recon into the reach shot gun but have not worked on it in a while sadly. Good luck with your mod.
