Now where the boots made from any sort of Pep file or you did them by eye? And what material are you using for the boots. I wasn't sure what could possibly be strong enough to walk on.

No pep for the boots. It was carved out of foam and detailed with Bondo. It will be cast in a hard rubber.

as usual, it looks better in person. You can't see how the "metallic" parts shimmer. Looks much more like warn metal in person.

Amazing work. I just started my Mark VI Helmet and I hope it turns out as well as yours. Hopefully when it comes time to cast I can come to you for guidance



I'm sure its been mentioned more times than I could imagine, but if you plan on selling an un-painted cast I would be interested.

adam, i cliked on the thumbnail and good lord, that thumb does the paint no justice.. all the edges look sooo metallic and weathered. did you do a layered paint or is the damage topical?

How do you heat the Lexan up with a heat gun or do you just bake it in the oven with the wood? i got .042 grade
