On the sides here you can see the new 'spacer pieces' I developed to make the helmets size adjustable. The helmets can be assembled with or without the those spacers in between the jaw and the back of the head piece.

Check out the new interiors below.

Although they look kinda blue-ish in these shots, they are jet black (my wifes camera  ) The cheek foams have velcro on the back so that you can move them around to find the most comfortable fit... or remove them altogether if the helmet is too tight. They're made with 'headband liner' fabric... it's a soft black fabric with 1/8" of cushy gray foam on the back.

Also you can see the helmet fans in there (and the switches for the fans and lights), and the removable visor. The whole helmet is designed to come apart so that you can break it back down to do maintenance on the interior. The padding can be removed and washed, the batteries come out to be replaced.. ect.

These are the best helmets I've made yet... they're vastly improved over mine...

I guess I'll have to make one for myself now. ;-)

wow sean, they look amazing, the adjustable feature is very nice,

talk about revolutionary haha

once again, great job

whoa man nice, could you maybe post a breakdown of how u put all ur tech and padding in that, it would be awesome bro

WOW!!! Those are awesome Sean!! Who ever own's those are some lucky *bleeps* ;-) ... They are true work of art and master pieces.. :wowie:

wow, trully finished. Doesn't it suck how the color red rarely gets captured correctly on camera.

But wow. those are masterpieces.

True that. They're mettalic cherry red, but you wouldn't know it from the photos... I'll have to try again in natural sunlight. I couldn't figure out why the black padding looked blue in the pics... it even came through the viewfinder that way. My camera is on the mend, so I had to use my wifes camera... which is much newer than mine but surprisingly doesn't work as well.

I'm excited to see these in new colors... maybe white someday, Desolate. ;-)

Thanks for the feedback everybody. It feels nice to outdo yourself when you can..

Yikes! Thats tough to estimate because these are the first ones I've done this way, and I worked on all three as a batch, so it took 3x as long.

I suppose I could make an entire helmet from start to finish in about 1 month... I work full time, so it's strictly relagated to off hours for me..

Now that the patterns and wiring harnesses are all figured out though I bet I can cut that time in half... but don't hold me to that!

:happy1:

:wowie: Amazing Sean.

I'm not sure how I'm going to build a suit to do it justice.

You weren't kidding when you said it'd be obscenely pimped.
