Hey again,

Can I possibly put some kind of coily thing on the helmet? It's a black thing like an oxygen feeder on both sides of the helmet. So I'm wanting to cut a bit of space to put something that looks like that in there.

You don't use mat on the outside, Correct?

Correct. You use fiberglass mat and clothe on the inside to provide structural support, strength, and substance so that you can smooth off all the polygonal edges from the pepakura.

Wait so you sand off the paper of pepakura???

Some people just resin it and paint it.

Wait so you guys fiberglass inside and out then sand out the pepakura and fiberglass to smooth it all out and remove all the edges?

Yes, you can.... If you cut the ribbing and use a black fabric backing you can easily install fans behind them for ventilation.

Yea I was thinking of some kinda tubing but I don't know what it's called... I figured I'd come across some when I needed to...

go to lowes, they sell a ribbed tubing the right diameter for this project. You cut it in half, paint it black and voila!

what if i fiberglassed the outside would i just sand the inside to get rid of the pepakura? and would i be able to use the same container again after it has a layer of dried up resin in it¿
