The bottom part of this Recon helmet is a bit harder than I thought. But at least I'm using Pepakura viewer for references.
It's kinda hard to tell, but I just hot glued it on at an angle. No beveling (no angled cuts), and no shallow incisions. Just angled gluing. It's also a thin piece, so I can bend it the way I need it to.

I finally finished all the lower section of the Recon helmet. I think that section was the hardest part. I'm glad I'm done with it! I can move on to the top sections
