I keep forgetting, what does CNC mean?? I know it has to do with a machine...

Computer Numerical Control. Basically it's a machine that uses a coordinate system to create objects from 3D information.

HAHA, well there are limitations in detail as you've seen with Slave and Bishop's work, but yeah that's the idea. Slave and Bishop had to add a lot of the finer details to their helmet that the machine couldn't handle.

Sadly it's the store bought equivalent of a piece used on their ODST ... I think I'd die if I actually got to hold one of their props, let alone own one

I think the ODST armor would be a great alternative to spartan armor for paintball / airsoft, since you could make alot more of it soft rather than hard.

@ Zaso: It's funny yoou mentioned paintball, I think a lot of the paintball vests would work great for the pouches and some of the soft armor areas They are also pretty cheap

I believe legendary armor was planning on molding the one they buy for that same reason....

As far as decals etc goes, there was someone who had the "medic" decals made. I can't remember who it was.

If it's this...It's me!!! (The ODST Gauntlet in the back ground are work in progress and may end up in the bin). For a WETA ODST uniform. Your're gonna need about 20 1" ITW NEXUS buckles, about 6 2" ones (2 for shoulders, 2 for each leg) and two 3/4" one (for the Gauntlets). Oh! and 2 yards of 2mm neoprene for the shoulder attachments and for the Cuirass.

Everybody that is working on an Weta Type ODST, PM me if I can help with materials location or whatever.

Lol, no worries, last time I checked Bungie owned the ODST design, not me, so my toes are fine I'll PM you soon about the project. Coolness, looking forward to it I reckon we should do the pep version, then a super duper sharp shooter hi poly version in zbrush on the off chance "someone" wants to get the parts milled.

..Oh I am sure there is some ODST stuff in the works in LegendaryArmorLand

...if I recall I think there was a helmet that was being CNC'd as I type this
