5TH we used 2IN black web belts from any Army Navy store.

What/where exactly do you use the web belts in the costume?

I use industrial strength velco and elastic for everything (pads, strapping around body, strapping to armor.

Another nice touch, these upperbody pressure suits are a nice piece to fix things to, and look good in areas that will show through. This years models look to have some colored piping on them but thats easily remedied.

They can also give a more heroic broad shouldered look, cause not everyone is a 7 foot tall geneticly altered grecian god.

In general do a search on ebay.co.uk (.com didn't appear to work)

They are awesome for all sorts of costume applications, seen them in loads of films, take a look at the Aliance navy guys in Serenity.

Full finger are however rather uncomfortable and do need a load of flexing and bedding in.

Also come in fingerless, take a larger size and you can wear somthing thin underneath like navigunner gloves, that way you can get the coverage but no loss of dexterity. This being important if you're airsofting or at a larp or a bar...

These are excelent items for helmet lights. You may be like No. those are lame. Its better then just having a single led sticking out of your helmet looking all stupid. These are really nice because they contain 1 white bright led in a lightbulb like casing (what I mean by that is there is reflective stuff around it inside. When I used 4 of these for my helmet, I took the black clip off and I dremeld the poly that comes of the lamp to attach to the clip. I was able to fit it into the sideboxes of my helmet where it fit so snug into the hole I made.

I unfournatly do not have this helmet any longer =[. But I still have these led lamps sitting around the house, one right next to me now =].

That looks pretty good, almost exacty what I used in my helmet. Although I used white lights myself... I never reconciled whether they should be white or blue. But any white LED has a bit of a blue tinge to it, that was good enough for me. :dee:
