Is the helmet life sized?
I've been looking for one, but failed. I saw one file for the head only, but it was only a small version.

That helps a lot actually, I mean, it be awesome if it was SUPER low poly and maintained the detailing, but this is still super helpful and will probably be all I need. I dicked around a bit in pepakura with it, made an EVA foam pattern, and this is the result so far.

I was also considering trying out Shapeways, downside is that for them, I need a hallow model. Anyone able to hallow it out for me?

Would anyone here be interested in unfolding a Tallgeese.pdo? I found a .skp of it on google, converted it to a 3ds then into a pdo. I tried to unfold it, but even the auto unfold came out better than my attempt. There are only two tallgeeses out that I know of, one is an SD, and the other is in Nintendude's archives. So I was hoping this one could become serviceable for myself and other Gundam fan(atic)s.

I have tried to get the file from my desktop copy of FF8, but it comes out all squished... I don't have the skills to expand it properly. Any help would be great!
Also the gunblades and Irvine's guns would be awesome to have as well.

In what manner squished? Could you post a download link (sendspace, 4shared, mediafire etc) to the file so we could have a look on it?

From what I have been able to learn from what some people have said, the program isn't getting the proper data to give the file depth. They said it's because the program isn't really displaying in true 3d or something, just a corner that was cut by the program so it could run better...
I'll try to get it loaded up here, but my hard drive died on me last month and most of my data is still in limbo...
