Progress On My New Set Of Armor

Just and update. I printed out the torso and im in the process of assembling it. I thinking I also might redo the helmet and use FS's new helm he just put out. But I had a quick question. I found some of my old mechanix gloves and I just wondering how people when about getting the white writing off of the back. Im picking at it but its taking for ever.

Instead of picking the letters off, you could try a spray paint called "Plastidip". You can get it at Home Depot. I am not sure if it will work for your application however, I have used it on vinyl with great success.

Just started the torso. Its going together pretty nicely. What do you guys think about the fit so far?

the straps need to be touching your neck look at any pic and youll see that. thats what i did and it fits nice and snug

I cut alittle out so if I hadnt done that it would be like that but I think I like it the way it fits that way I have a little room to breath.

Its not too bad but I havent got to the real small pieces but if you take your time it pretty much makes its self.

I want to make this, but the other part of me doesnt want to because I have no place for a second suit.

I seriously need to do something about my old one, I dont feel comfortable selling it because my quality may not be someone elses and they will be upset if it isnt what they expected.

I might just do a torso and helmet from FS, then find a storage place for my old ones.

I have everything done now except for the lower triangle part. Hopefully ill have that done tonight if i feel like working on it.

The torso is DONE!! Next on the list is Fs' new helm.
