OOOOOOooooooo................that is a VERY smexy Kat helmet!

However, I have noticed that EVERYONE seems to mess up the small area at the top front of her helmet! XD lol Everyone that has modeled her helmet always seems to mess up that one small part of detail!

And if you are wondering what I am referring to:

If you can do all that, then this helmet would be TOTALLY smexy! LOL

Absolutely awesome AOA. I was noticing all the little bits the other day myself but didn't feel like unfolding it then and there when I still had all the armor to do first. but this will help out a lot. Thanks dude!

If you have pep designer 3 installed, I suggest that you uninstall and re-install the program. If you only have pep viewer, I suggest that you upgrade to designer because viewer will not open .3ds or .obj files (only .pdo).


EDIT: I checked the helmet link and it's working.

When I save the file or download it I receive a message saying windows can't open this file and asks me if I want to search the internet for a program that can. Uhhhh. haha. I do have the full program though

Right-button click on the .obj file and then click on Properties. When a panel opens, there is a line that says "Open With ...". Click on the "Change" button and then choose Pepakura Designer 3. Then click OK.

Sorry, won't let me edit my post. I figured out the issue. Now when I open the file, I'm asked a lot of questions about editing the file. I opened it and the helmet's there, but it's not unfolded so I only see the 3d helmet and not the 2d counterpart.

Go from Brave to Default Style setting for the web page and then you can start editing your posts.

That's what PD does with .3ds and .obj files: It will ask you to choose the proper orientation before it displays the 3-D model. Of course, they're not yet unfolded. You're expected to unfold them yourself when you use file formats other than .pdo.
