ive only got til thursday thats when i fly out from san antonio, ill build it for later but for now im just finishing up my undersuit and packin up my case for dcon
i think for my first suit i pulled this one out pretty damn fast..lol my original deadline WAS halloween until i got invited to dcon, so i had to speed it up

You should be fine by Halloween then Looking forward to that for sure! Wish I could go to PAX or Dcon one year! Crossing the border with a suit of armour and arsenal of weapons would be hard for me lol

I was only there Saturday this year. I didn't do my "Spartan I" Leonidas, I was Wolverine wearing a Xavier's School hoodie. You probably stood out more than I did, lol. I did take some time to go out to around where we were last year, but it was so packed! Was there even a red carpet this year?

Next year I should have my fully completed Jorge (gun, backpack, resined), we should get each other's number so that we can meet up then.

First off you made an amazing suit good job sir but I had a question about your painting the silver "scratched" weathering you did just looks amazing did you paint it then add the black wash to make it dirty and how did you make the scratches?

I looked for that Spartan 1 I believe the red carpet was replaced by more artists and autographs

Thank you I first added black wash and then took a paint brush and sprayed some shiny silver spray paint on the tip of the brush and brushed it along the edges. Hope that helps

I'm currently waiting on buying 2 pieces of wood that I can put on each side of the mold so it doesn't warp or bend while the plastic is curing.
and also fill a couple gaps with some silicone.

You'll be the first to know when I finally start

It looks great, I had a few questions though. Umm what kind of foam did you use when you made it. Also did you print or draw the lines on? How think did your slice magum come out in the end. Also did you plasti dip any of it ?
