Rhongomiant Lance Project

Hey 405th. This is my First Project of many. I have started making a Lance & not sure if this is the right thread to put it in (noob) So I hope you guys enjoy the Progressed.

The Lance I will be making.

I started off with 1"x6"x8' Pine.

After all the measurements I ended up with a 7 foot lance to work with.

I will post more after I get some more work done to it.

Well got a quite a bit done before the storm moved in. ^^;

Took a while but Finished getting the lines down

I did have some time to cut a little just need to sand it down & finish cutting the rest out lol.

looks pretty good! i've never tried building any wood props yet, but i think something like this or even a kukiri would be the right starting place. from what i've seen on all the other wood builds is planning it all out on paper first, just so you get the summetry and scale perfect. looks like a good start though, i must say

Thanks Andrew. I kinda skipped the easy props & dove face first into this. ^^; Probably help if I had some exp. Yeah I didn't post my scale paper. You can see my paper with the measurements in some of the picture lol. I have been stuck not doing it because of the rain storms that we seem to get when I'm off, but I moved everything inside today. I should have some more pictures by the end of the day.
