Looks really great!
THANKS! The smooth thing is great!
Looks really great!
I think what I did worked out, but i tried both extremes and yeah, they can get REALLY rounded.
Just like my Step Fatter!
How do you model in sketch up?
Do you just build from looking at a picture or what?
Well in the game the armor parts were just textured with the look they have on the action figure, same with the files, so they dont have the definition of those lines on the sides of the thigh and the circle and such. Im trying to make files more accurate to the action figure. And yeah, Ill have to figure out how to fix all the boxiness.wait you said the mkv peps didn't even resemble the suit? They are instant rips of the 3d model ingame (exept my helmet file)
So how can they not be acurate? And it does look a bit boxy, no pun intended :/
i kinda thought that. I'm just glad somebody is making a different one. Would be nice to have some more detail like raised parts, recessed panel lines, etc. This piece still looks like it's gona be cool though!
Im thinking of doing my own helmet, but well se how that turns out! And yeah i tried to do those lights on the back, but for some reason Sketchup wont recognize the light boxes as a separate face so i cant use the indent tool. Ill try again later tho.dang you're really banging this thing out!! can't wait to see it done!! you gona do a helmet too or you think it would go good with RunDown's?? oh, and don't forget the indents for the 2 lights on the back right of the back pack. just looked at my Mk V Ref pic and saw that
Thanks! I've been using Sketchup for a while now and Ive got use to it, its simple but very a powerfuldang, I use blender, but I may have to try sketchup... nice work!
I'm using Sketchup too!
If you have imported your files to pepakura before, you could see many open edges.
How'd you fix that?
Thanks! Im thinking the entire suit will be finished within the next two days!!Looking NICE!!!!!!
keep up the good work!
