Link, What are all the things you use to make your suits/costumes?
Material wise for details and that stuff?

im thinking that you mean body filler, you can use it to fill in gaps and holes
yep, thats what I mean, but can I use it to shape over, oh lets say a crappy Styrofoam block?

Looking VERY much forward to what you turn out Link! In reading this thread, I see that you have been leaning in the direction of the Halo 2 Marines. With that Weta video of the Halo 3 Marines, what differences / similarities have you found between the two versions of armor?

It looks like the helmet has undergone some subtle changes, haven't been able to pick up chest details, but the shoulder armor there was a good screen cap of it.

You can probably tell I'm pretty excited about your project. As both an avid Colonial Marine and Clonetrooper, I'm familar with the tutorials you've mentioned and various other mods to the armor types.

Happy to share any details with you if it would help.

Wow, good thing I didn't start on the helmet first...

I'm doing the shoulders and the knee pieces for the H3 marine now.... together we can have one awesome product... This is looking super great!

This is getting better and better! Looks like we'll be able to field H3 Marines with both Link and Adam working on the project!

Very, very cool. Did anyone happen to catch what type camo the marines had on in the video? Was it digital or the crye camo as used in Ghost Recon or something different still?
