I'm starting my first Spartan build. Im gonna do a mirage core base with odst shoulders and artaius Helmer. So far all I have mage is the helmet. I'm gonna do mostly 3d printed build with the chest being one if the only things made from foam. The helmet so far is made. It has working ear pro so I can hear things clearly.
I hope to add fans and maybe some lights. The paint job isn't the final one just a proof of concept

Keeping with mirage core base I 3d printed all.the leg and boot parts. I covered every part with pasty dip and truck bed liners so I didn't have to sand bearly anything at all. Some parts of the print failed but we just cut the file and printed what failed and glued those together. With the pasty dip, truck bed liner and a bit of hiding skills you can hardly tell there is separation on a few prints. All parts are held to me by elastic bands except the knee pads which are sewed into a knee pad insert. The boots have everything shoe glued on.

So i decided to again 3d print most my armor so my second step behind the helmet was arms and shoulders. Luckily the mirage core is simple and odst shoulders are easy. Almost All armor parts are held to me by elastic bands but the shoulders I use velcro to keep them in place on the undershirt. The elbow pads are sown on to a elbow insert that already made for the undershirt that's just a combat top. After 3d printing I barely sanded anything. I applied three layers of pasty dip spray and two layers of druck bed liner. This covered the lines and gives a hard shell. All the parts are backed in eva foam to give it padding and some extra structure

The helmet looks great but I do recommend if you can and able. Get a formed visors for it, that shape just pulled it all together.

All done after a month of work im finally almost happy with the final parts of my spartan. Ive learned alot and will use what i have learned for my next armor
