Gosh, your work is looking awesome. I love how clean your pepping is, and that shotty is lookin' SWEET! Lookin' forward to seeing how it all turns out. Oh, and good luck with school n' all that. :D

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!;)
So i had a set back putting in detail to my Shotty, so i just steped away for a few days and came back to it. This is what i have so far. Just need the front part and the sights.

The chest piece is wearable, but not complete. its a bit tight but instead of starting a new one i am just going to "mod" it. Hoping to start the forearm piece.

Now thats a nice update there Hauss.

That Shotty looks to be coming together nicely.

I started work on a Helm, and almost finished too.

Cool lookin suit so far. And, Im guessing your just using cardboard for the shotgun right? and if so are you still going to use bondo for fine details?

Yep, just cardboard for this, and due to my inexperience with bond, no i'm not planning on using bondo for this.

Here this is what I mean, This knife weighs 9 oz's, The magnets aren't even touching the knife.

I put an inset inbetween the magnets, so that when I walk around, the inset will have apiece that will in a way "Lock" the item in place, Just have to make sure I add the outset piece to said Item.

Just something to pass to ya Trooper.

I was planning on doing that to my Bro In-Laws armor

Nice dude this armor is looking great. The shotgun is also turning out fantastically! honestly i didnt think a nerf gun could work that well as a base, but you have proven me otherwise. I was just curious, where did you get/ what is the foam called that you are using? I have been unable to find this information, most likely because i am a complete noob lol. Also how squishy is it? im planning on using it as padding for the inside of my armor plates.

Foam mats. They can be found at Harbor Freight, 4 for 10 bucks, so i have heard, mine are from Walmart, 20 bucks for 6, but i think the ones i am using are abit more thicker, not sure.

Small Update:

I have one forearm put together, need the other. I also want to start on a foam helmet, my EOD will be finished later, when the weather stops being cold one day, warm the next.

You could minimize the mag, or extend the shell to cover most of it up. Ive done the mag modifications, but it isnt as common now with 18 and 35 round mags, so its not worth it.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

I got both forearms done, i had to cut off a little at the wrist, but other then that, they seem to be pretty good

I've been thinking about how I could have removable attachments on my armor too ! I was either thinking some of those clip buttons. ( the ones you find on pants, wallets, etc...) or just using some wire that i Can twist and untwist.

Hey bud, Which Helm are you trying to foam?
Take a few looks at the two I did if you need any reference. And also just to help ya in the Long run, Section the build, Top Cranial to base of cranial( which is back half) Then do the Brow section (Brim area) Then do the Jaw Line.

Hope that helps ya and keeps from using too much material.

Likin your forarms.
