for one a "stand" is called a bipod... and yes you can.

two, I honestly don't think it would be worth it, but supposedly the super9 is better than it use to be. So its your choice. Would it be good enough for a team? From the statistics that its said aka 385 with .2s, I'm sure that would be fine. If thats true, would it break down quicker than normal? yes. Theres a replacement bolt for it because the bolt wears down fast. And of course I discourage sniping when you're new to the sport (if you are that is) Sniping takes patience, and A LOT of money. Because even with 385 with. 2s, you're not going to outrange AEGs, well maybe some. But basically you'll be at another disadvantage there. But maybe someone else has experience with it.

Yeah, I had experience with it. Well, not that sniper but another sniper I used to have. Just get an AEG. When I was using the sniper, I barely even got a chance to fire half the time cause I was too busy behind cover listening to my little wooden wall getting pounded. Plus if you get rushed, you're kinda dead in that situation. But if you really want it, then I guess it's your choice to get it. I still reccomend you get an AEG. There are some pretty good AEGs for a good price. Like the JG Beta Spetsnaz. Its like 98 bucks and has a 300 high cap mag and 320 to 350 fps. Good starter gun.

YAY FOR SPRING LOADED..actually no, mines horrific, its a double eagle, I ambushed these guys once and instead of taking both of them out, the gun jammed and I got lit up....I looked like I had the chicken pox for a couple of days, not a fun day of airsoft

for one, its kind of hard to snipe with a rifle that goes less distance than an upgraded AEG, the hopup would be terrible. I've said this numerous times. It's honestly almost impossible to get a good sniper without paying a lot of money.

And how do you know your great at sniping? like, sorry bud, halo and call of duty are a lot different than real life and airsoft. Much different.

sorry for the angerness, it's just like -_-x99.

i just know ok ( alright i did a little time sniping people for money) lol no jking about that in the () but i have a bb gun with a scope on it and i hit my target Dead in the center every time from 100 feet all the way up to 300 feet sooo i know i'm not great but i'm good at sniping

EDIT: spartan117x get on aim

I'd like to finalize by saying- What you were doing does not display sniping, it displays marksmansship. That's necessary for all guns/roles. Being a sniper does not mean having a scope on a gun and shooting accurately. Heck if you're seriously wanting to do this, save up, get a DECENT aeg, and slap a scope on it. Trust me thats a much better option. Like I said before, don't get encouraged by videogame sniping, but if you're seriously still considering sniping. Do it, but I'd still say get an AEG first.

no thanks you i rather be out of the way and undercover that is my thing just like when me and my brother play in a back yard I'm always ether on the ground, up in a tree or standing by some cover (just to add my bro never wins lol)

Yeah Double Eagle can be pretty bad. Lol, I still have my old Double Eagle Sig 552 from back when I first started Airsofting a few years back. Now, I mostly use it as a wall hang now. The only things I still use from the original package of that gun is the attachments (flash light, laser, etc.) Lol, surprisingly they fit on the JG Spetsnaz like a charm.

ive said it before...but

SNIPING IS UNREALISTIC AND WILL NEVER WORK OUT IN AIRSOFT AND IS ALSO POINTLESS.

A snipers TRUE role in an airsoft OP is really one of spotter/scout with 99% of the time have NO trigger time.

I definitely disagree with that. I've encountered some snipers who have definitely done good.

And sniping isn't unrealistic, if you say that, well then you can basically say all of airsoft is unrealistic. 300 round hicaps realistic? I think not! Course thats not always the case, but airsoft isn't "perfectly realistic". Sniping can play a good part in it, not enough to change the course of anything, but it can definitely help. And there is no "true sniper role" in airsoft, as I said before, theres 3 roles, recon; taking out a specific target, and theres another i forgot, but they can actually provide quite good support. Come on, you've played halo, do you stick your head out when theres a sniper aimed at you? No. Honestly, they really can help out A LOT. But only if you can outrange an AEG, or else its completely pointless to have a 300-400 fps when you're in the range of a guy with an automatic rifle. 550fps is the limit, and 500 fps would be a great goal for any sniper. But it is EXPENSIVE. People always expect to get some cheap sniper and have it work just as good, then they hate airsoft/sniping because it wasn't fun. Well, I coulda told them that before they got it.

Stealth is a whole nother thing. If you like sneaking around well then theres no reason you can't do that with an AEG, or even a DMR.

In my experiences, air soft wars with my friends in the greenbelt are always shoot and run or just keep shooting until you hit them first, and then say it didn't hit you, and also way to much flanking
But in other ways it the best we can get for our low end stuff, the best gun I have is a double eagle g36 and a Walther p99, some day i would like to get a STAR or CA but I would rather buy a car or armor or PC parts, than air soft due to the fact that I never get the chance to use them.

well i just got a gun for back yard play (a crossman stinger r34) yes i know it is not great but it is something for now.

I was just thinking is there any way i can take a gear box and put it in the gun???

Well you could, but if you don't exactly have any experience with the internals of an airsoft gun then I would advise you not to because you could run the risk of damaging the gun. Unless you know how then go ahead.

Hmm, a Crosman R34... well I guess since you're doing some backyard play then its okay. But in my opinion, a gun has to have a metal gearbox to be acceptable to me. I understand that you're starting out, and with an R34 is great. My first gun when I got into the sport a few years back was a Double Eagle Sig 552. But eventually as I got more into the sport, I learned to save up for better guns like JGs and such. So basically, if you're going to really get into the sport, don't keep buying cheap guns and begin to start saving up for a good gun. :D

heres a P90 if ur still looking for one

P90
Does anyone know if they have/are making a "proline" series p90? (Classic Army)

And I'm pretty sure, like 92% sure you can't take a gearbox and put it into a spring gun.

Um, this is probably going to sound like a really noobish question but, what's a good way to clean your AEG barrel? A friend of mine told me to use those little pipe cleaners things, or take a long cotton swab and clean the barrel but not to go to far in. Any other ways or advice?

Most aegs come with a "jam/cleaning" rod. actually, it almost is like what they use for I think flutes? but longer. [my sister use to play the flute, I'm not gay. lol.]

http://www.southgeorgiaairsoft.com/utg_mp5...od_dejammer.jpg

Thats it, except what you cant see, is theres a hole in it on the right side for putting like a paper towel in. The best way to clean it then, is spray some lube down the barrel, [i might not remember the exact order, but this is the way that makes sense.] with a dry paper towel attached to ramrod, stick it down, make sure hopup is off, and you can go all the way in. [sorry for lack of punctuation and sounding confusing.] then repeat until most of the gunk is out, and the papertowel is clean. Then spray some lube on a papertowel [the papertowel is only going to be small enough to get through the hole in the rod, and if you twist it the towel around it works better. if that makes sense] Then there you go!

Basically

1. turn off hopup
2. spray lube down barrel
3. clean with dry papertowel
4. spray lube on papertowel and clean

Depending on what you can improvise with, you can buy a cheap LPEG and it might have one. (I know the 30 dollar BE augs have one)

does anyone know of a good gas Walther P38 airsoft pistol???

Both maruzen and marushin have one, I'd probably go with the maruzen.

But I'm pretty sure they're same makers/different locations, like ksc and kwa.
