Yep, thats were I got my first decent airsoft gun from. Fast shipping, but not the best customer service. I got the VSR-10 W/O scope from there. It cost me in total about $300.00, but than I bought a real sniper scope (4-20x60). I also upgraded it to shoot about 520 FPS. I put in a zero-triger, a new barrel, and a new high end TM hop up rubber. That set me back an other about $450.00 (scope alone was $120.00 surplus).
I also got some CF issue CADPAT BDU's (set me back about $90.00), a Tac-vest, a ABS M8 helmet (couldent find the CF one), I made a custom helmet cover from the real CADPAT material manufactured by DND (Canadian government approved).
Just a note before people start saying stuff about the CADPAT. The CADPAT has been properly decommisioned by the Canadian government, and has been distributed throughout some Canadian surplus stores for sale. Its all used lightly, and a little faded. It isn't the Parkland or Frontanic stuff. I don't wear ANY patched AT ALL because I belive there a wright, not a privelage. Ony the men and women who join the Canadian Forces deserve to wear them.
I'll edit this post with all of my gear just as soon as my camera gets fixed.
I've never even heard of modify. aka probably not reccomended.
Systema-Guarder-(main stream AEG brands, aka CA, KA, GP,GG, TM, etc. [not JG/chinese clones]) um.. Madbull. Theres others probably
oh and advice?
So I watched the vid on the Mod gears, pretty interesting and a local shop down here sells it for $85. Same price as a set of Systema High speed gears. Might actually get a set...the only thing is that it works only on stock boxes and not any reinforced boxes.
The VSR-10 is a sniper rifle. I know I cant use it on SOME fields, but up in Canada, some exceptions are made. There is a murcy rule that alows you to put down you're gun if you don't want to get shot. I also can't shoot it at some one from under 50 feet away.
Also, when its the REAL stuff that the canadian forces realy used, sometimes people think its illegal to be owned by a civilian UNLESS its decommisioned by the government of Canada. Im a civilan, BUT the CADPAT is decommisioned. If it wasn't decommisioned, I would be arrested and charged a few thousand dollars AND some jail time.

Cadpat was supposedly first in the digicamo age. So I commend it.
Sounds like you got a pretty nice set up with your vsr! hope you're happy- it's a great gun.
Actualy, America developed the first digital camoflage. Canada made there own that was BETTER then the US, than the US bought the idea for quite a bundle. Today, CADPAT is proven to be the BEST camoflage used any country that is a part of the UN.
i find it hard to believe that its illegal to wear camo unless its been decommissioned, what ever that means (for clothing). Especially since its for sale to the regualr public. it might be FROWNED upon by military people....but i doubt its illegal.
also Multi-cam is currently the most effective camo set being used in combat today. Multicam rocks. cant wait for us to get in in a year or so. (or whenever they start filtering it down to the regular active army folks)
I wear marpat/acu/every other kind of camo for pants every day. I don't own a single pair of jeans . It only had a problem with one guy, but he was an idiot to begin with. But this is America, and we can do that.
and WetOkole, get on arnies-airsoft.co.uk/forums. TONS of people sell gearbox shells, but you need 100 posts to get to the sales forum.

Decommisioned military clothing means its aloud to be worn by the public, not just the military. Also, there is a differance between the real CADPAT, and the Parkland and Frontanic stuff. Real CADPAT is issued to the CF and stated in Canadian Military Law, it is ILLEGAL to be in the possition of CF issue CADPAT as a civilian UNLESS its decommisioned. Parkland is a cheep imitation of CADPAT that isn't even close to the real CADPAT pattern, and the colours have some differances. Frontanic was supposed to be the manufacteror of CADPAT for the CF, but the Government decided to go to DND instead because it was a little cheeper there, and also they had a larger company. Frontanic is still licenced to produce CADPAT and distribute it to the public, but its not up to military specs. The cut of the uniforms is wrong, and there are a few colour differances, and the CF issue CADPAT is infa-red treeted.
In conclusion, in Canada, CADPAT, the real CF issue stuff is simply illegal be be owned by a civilian, unless it is decommisioned.
In America on the otherhand, its differant. MARPAT is ok to be distributed throughout the public. I don't know why, if you want an answer, ask the Military.
CADPAT alone is reserved to military use BECAUSE it is the BEST camoflage pattern proven by the UN's tests. Its vertualy invisable at 25 meters, and the Canadian governmet wants to keep it that way. They don't want to take ANY chances with someone trying to steel the CADPAT desing WITHOUT paying for it. Personaly, I also think it works the best, even better than Multi-cam (CRYE). Ask the military branch of the government of Canada for the REAL answer, but my answer is the closest thing that the government has reliced to the public.
Honestly, If you had the BEST OF THE BEST camoflage pattern, would you share it FOR FREE? I wouldn't.
Also, I agree, the MARPAT BDU's disincluding the desert ones are garbage. They stick out EVERYWERE! I've tryed them in an airsoft game, and MARPAT makes you look like a pink truck in a parking lot of black smart cars. It sticks out easy.
Sorry I took so long lol, life was pretty crazy : P
Yah, you should be pretty good with that med cap, although personally I would buy a pack of I think 6 low caps from 007airsoft.ca just click on the instock page. As for the stock battery, it will do you for a while, just dont charge over 8 hours, other wise the battery will not last very long if you charge it for the 12 hours like instructed by the manual.... A higher quality battery will last longer and give you a higher rate of fire.... but also increase the wear and tear on your probably plastic internals.........
Cad-pat looks the best nuff' said.
lol I'm just happy canada finally got something right
EDIT: 007airsoft is going out of buisness so you may want to contact him before placing an order, even thought it is on the instock page.
i have no idea where to get a SA 80 but just wondering if anyone has gotten a KWA S-system i was thinking about getting one anyone know if its a good gun or not
Actually be makes a low budget AUG. The low price one use to be the best for LPEGs ( before UTG and all them other brands created MPEGs, which shifted everyone into making higher quality stuff) But they do have an 80 dollar version which is supposed to be better. Or at least I assume would.
