Photobucket, Woopics, Imageshack.

You just upload your picture and it'll give your an url like
http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/7825/39713131313kw6.png

You just put it between <div class='codetop'>CODE</div><div class='codemain'>

thanks for the help S1l3nt V1p3r. i just fixed that all up, so it should be all good now.

Um just another small update on the sanding progress and the rear of the gun. and if you wondering why it now has patches of green on it.
i gave it a quick paint with a dark green spray, just so i could see the areas that needed the most sanding work done to them. I find that it helps a lot, sometimes it good to do it a couple of times, you can use other paints, darker he better but it does make a huge difference. makes it really easy to see those trouble areas.

Hi guys, another update, um i got the handle and trigger done and all or the sanding at this point. Ive just got to drill the hole for the barrel, wich i also have finished fabricating, then mount the scope and then its painting time.

there she is

In photobucket below each photo in your album it shows: (IMG Code - Forums & Bulletin Boards.) The code directly below that is what you use to show the photos in the boards. Just click on the code and it will automatically say, "copied." Them just past them in the reply using (Ctrl - V). Hope this helps and it makes it easier to see the progress instead of clicking each link.

I could never do that with wood  it really looks awesome

pfft I'm sure you could!!, u can do anything if u put your mind to it, some faster then others but thats not whats important, as long as you are satisfied with what you have achieved, then thats all that matters. and I'm sure many of the very talented artist on these forums would agree. If your wanting to start making them out of timber, I would suggest making the BR first, I know i found it the easiest, its has fairly basic shapes.

If you do decide to start making them out of timber, i would be happy to help answer any of your questions, if you want, i could even draw up some plans and give em to ya, well for the BR, the others i would have to come up with something. Basically juz take your time and maybe look at some reference pics to get your ideas.

and remember Ive never done this before ether so...

I must say it is progressing nicely! Looks like you've made some good progress on it. Keep it up! Make sure you update regularly. I'm interested to see how this turns out when finished.

Hey hows it going everyone, it has been a long time since my last entry, due to me working to much :cautious: . but now I finally have something to show you. I finished painting the body of the gun and the preliminary details, I have chosen to still not show the scope at this time, as i think it is really bad and am in the process of fabricating another. But i will show you the pictures of the painting process so far.

this is just before the first coat of paint, all smoothed out and ready to go.

Ok, so following this I gave the BR 2 coats of flat black. I then proceeded to tape and mask off the parts that I wanted to keep sed black, I then hung it outside on the clothesline and painted on the lighter parts.

After a few hours of drying, I brought it back into the workshop, where I gave it the artistic touch. Using the same silver paint from the top, I dry brushed in some weathered effects to the black sections, Then I did the same for the top only using a dirty oil brown/black color instead of normal black. I then added a slight reddish leather tinge to the hand rest by painting it red and then wiping most of it off with a dry rag, i did this 3 times to each side and underneath as well, and A PRESTO.

So yeah that again is it so far, as I said before, i am making another scope to replace the last one as it is a bit dodgey. and i have a few little modifications to make, but it almost done.

That is a very innovative weapon. The final paintjob is as accurate as possible, and all the extra details and features are only more impressive.

If you don't already have a working ammo counter, Gokuss (Can't remember the full username) sells electronic ammo counters for Battle Rifles. You could buy one from him if you wanted it, but you might have to cut the BR in half longways to install all of the wires and related crap, so I wouldn't recommend it at this point.

Besides that, I really can't see any problems with it. If possible, you should try molding it. If you can't afford it, I'm sure someone would try investing in it in return for some pulls, or something along those lines. I'm pretty sure someone has done that here before, but I'm not sure as to whether it is allowed now.

Looking good!
How soon do you think you'll be done with the scope?

Um 2-3 days, a week at the most, but thats just estimating, presuming everything goes to plan, and it very rarely does. But um yeah not to long, hopefully.

To ImaGonnaGetYou I have sorted out the ammo counter already, although it does not actually count down or up, its still does the trick i think, but thanks for the info i will take note of that resource on my next build, maybe a MA5C Assault Rifle, although I did have a strong urge to make a SRS99D Sniper Rifle, or i was wondering, has anyone attempted to build a AIE-486H HMC Machine gun turret, that could be interesting. I shall see what happens.

PS as soon as i have completed the Scope i will post pics of both the ammo counter and the entire finished product.

cheers for the comments.
