Well here goes nothing (MC Build) Pic Heavy, DONE!

Ok update and a question for everyone viewing my thread. Well both shins are done and look better then I had originally thought so for now I will keep them. The cod peice is done and the scale was way off at first and had to remake, so there was a waste. And now my question I was first planing to do mc in the classic green/oregano/olive color, but now with alot of the parts in the black plastic dip I was thinking I should do the whole armor in black. What do you think?

Think colors down to personal preference. Will be easier to tell when you upload the pictures. But sounds good to me

Well I decided on the green. Altho the black looked good it would hide a lot of detail and its already lacking because of the foam.

UPDATE: I was able to get a lot done this weekend and finished painting the chest plates, shins, shoulders, and cod piece!









I still need to make the boots, thighs, forearms, and right hand plate....plus lighting and under suit........ugh and finish my pistol and a special build for this if I can get to it.

I tired to get both boots done this weekend but time ran short and I need to fix the front. Heres some pics and a pic of the classic blue flag from rvb(I swear it looks better in person and with out a camera flash). Happy building all.

O yea you got me beat lol. Although I might be further along if I wasn’t fencing in my backyard, rerunning the electrical/putting up ceiling fans in the back bedroom and working 40+ hrs a week. I do however decided to take a pic of my special project and share. I won’t post more of it until its more than half way done so enjoy till then.

Ouch you have a lot to do by the sounds of it. Im gonna have a lot less time myself as of December when I join the RAF, can't wait to see how this side project goes. What's it made of? I've seen some impressive ones made with fibre optics inside Perspex to look more game accurate.

Yea I’ve been told its one of those joys of owning a home....My A** it is. But on to the sword, it’s made from the rippled plexi shower doors and will be layered to give the game accurate look. I even had some time to work on it last night so ill post an update for yea. Really the pics do it no justice because the whole blade disperses the light across the whole thing but the camera can’t pick it up well.

Thanks all I should have an update by this weekend on my undersuit progress. Been alittle busy with work, and borderlands 2 has taken up some of my free time too.

With the blade cut out, the el wire can be shaped to the outer edge of the blade and glued in place. Since the plastic is waved and somewhat etched, the light will disperse from the outside edge inword.

ok I know i promised an update and this weekend was insanely busy to the point where I didnt even sleep much. I did however get a pic of me in the under-suit so far and thought I could at least post that for you. Let me know what you think. Also anyone have a template on how to sow together the neckseal? Ive been racking my brain all weekend on how to make this thing, thanks.
