Originally I was planning on the UTG Tactedge but it's too long (i need one no longer than 3.5 inches), I don't think the ACOG is similar enough to shell out $80 on so until I find a closer match I'll probably use the Leapers red dot scope I have...
Another thing you might consider adding is a 3-round burst chip. You can get them at redwolfairsoft I think. It would make it an even better replica.
(by the way, nice br CPU)
After working a few hours today I have improved the carry handle and cut the contour of the stock. The sheet metal looks crooked because I haven't attached it yet, I just put it on top for a picture, and the wires won't be sticking out when it's done. I plan on adding the detail to the stock later, enjoy!
The one's with the golden ends attach to the fuse, One pair of wires runs from the motor to the trigger contacts and comes out the back where it has a mini-tamiya battery plug, That attaches to another pair of wires that run into the fore grip and end in a large type tamiya battery plug that plugs into an 8.4v battery pack.
And while I love the 501st, the first thing you need to do is bucketshot a storm trooper (model). Until I convince a mass paintball game with the 501st, I have to convince other people to helmet shoot them.

All the internals are up and running. Fires flawlessly. Full auto and semi, i was thinking about getting a burst chip but it's $80+shipping from hong kong, so i scrapped that idea for now at least.Originally 1000rpm at 265 fps w/ .2g bb's, now fires slightly slower (not much) at 300fps w/ .2g bb's.
